1. Typical Protestant rules for salvation:

   Jesus is everywhere all the time. He can hear you now if you ask Him for forgiveness. Please turn your life over to Him NOW. Time slips by so quickly, don't miss this opportunity. If you want to pray and ask Jesus to be your Savior, you can say a prayer something like this:

   "Jesus, I know that I have sinned against you. I know the truth is that I have sinned by my own choice, and I am the one responsible for it. I know that I have earned punishment from You, and that the fair punishment would be death. Jesus, I believe that You died in my place. Forgive me for my sin. I cannot cover or take my sin away, I am relying totally and only on You. You are the only one who can save me. I reject my sin, I turn away from it, I repent. Come into my life, take away my sin, and show me how to live my life in a way that is right and pleasing to You."

   If you have prayed this, YOU ARE SAVED! You are now completely forgiven, a new creation, innocent in the eyes of God. Welcome to the family of God!

2. Every Sunday most Catholics go to Mass. Some internet web sites make the Mass out to be something evil. The question that should be asked is: why do they feel so threatened?

   How Catholics are SAVED every Sunday by participating in Mass:

3. Soon after the start of the Mass, the entire congregation confesses:
   People: I confess to Almighty God, and to you my brothers and sisters, that I have sinned exceedingly in thought, word, deed.(here he strikes his breast three times) through my fault, and I ask Blessed Mary ever Virgin, all the Angels and Saints, and you my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.
   Priest: May almighty God have mercy on you, forgive you all your sins, and bring you to everlasting life.
   People: Amen.
   All: Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy, Lord have mercy

   Jesus tells us from scripture this prayer justifies us:
   [Luke 18:13] But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, `God, be merciful to me a sinner!

   [Luke 18:14] I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for every one who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted."

4. Soon after the general confession comes the GLORIA:
   Glory to God in the highest, and peace to his people on earth. Lord God, heavenly King, almighty God and Father, we worship you, we give you thanks, we praise you for your glory. Lord Jesus Christ, only Son of the Father, Lord God, Lamb of God, you take away the sin of the world: have mercy on us; you are seated at the right hand of the Father: receive our prayer. For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord, you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of God the Father. Amen.

   This is SEEKING God. Scripture states God forgives those who seek Him:
   [2Chr 30:18] For a multitude of the people, many of them from Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet they ate the passover otherwise than as prescribed. For Hezekiah had prayed for them, saying, "The good LORD pardon every one 19 who sets his heart to seek God, the LORD the God of his fathers, even though not according to the sanctuary's rules of cleanness."

   [2Chr 30:20] And the LORD heard Hezekiah, and healed the people.

5. After the Bible is read, more prayers, and after the Homily (sermon) comes the PROFESSION OF FAITH:
   We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven:
   All bow at the following words up to: and became man.
   by the power of the Holy Spirit. he was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Potius Pilate; he suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day he rose again in fulfillment of the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of Life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy catholic apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

   The PROFESSION OF FAITH is the Gospel/Bible in a nut shell. Compacted. It states the essential truths which should be at the foundation of every Christian's faith.

   Pauls states by the PROFESSION OF FAITH we are SAVED:
   [Rom 10:9] because, if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

6. After more prayers, including the Lord's Prayer, comes the EUCHARIST/Lord's Supper.

   Protestants say, you must ask Jesus into your heart in order to be saved. Catholics do this when they eat the bread and wine - which they by FAITH believe hold the real presence of Jesus' body and blood.

   Protestants say you must have a relationship with Jesus to be saved. Participation in the EUCHARIST is INTAMACY with Jesus. In the EUCHARIST we merge with Jesus and become one with Him.

   PRIEST: This is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Happy are those who are called to his supper.
   PRIEST and PEOPLE: Lord, I am not worthy to receive you, but only say the word and I shall be healed.

   The priest then receives Communion.
   COMMUNION OF THE PEOPLE
   We offered Jesus to the Father. Now we receive Jesus in Holy Communion as God's gift to us.

   COMMUNION OF THE PEOPLE

   PRIEST: The body of Christ.
   COMMUNICANT: Amen.
   PRIEST: The blood of Christ.
   COMMUNICANT: Amen.

   [John 6:53] So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you;

   [John 6:54] he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

   [John 6:55] For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

   [John 6:56] He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.

   [1Cor 10:16] The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ?

   So you see, It is all Biblical.

   The entire Catholic Church is SAVED every Mass, every Sunday.
