During the early part of the 20th Century, several very rich foundations decided to throw out religion in favor of science. I do not want them coming after me - so I will not name them, however: the foundations first initials are: R, C, M. Those are the ones I know of. There are probably others.
The reason is: to assist mankind by any means necessary to evolve to a higher state - a more advanced being.
Darwin's evolutionary theory fit right in with this agenda.
This is not a 'conspiracy'. It is and has been for many years a deliberate attempt to force the evolution of man.
I believe the people who run the rich foundations are the shadow government of the world. I believe the public governments are really puppets - for public consumption and entertainment.
For evolutionary change, if you examine the fossil record, requires cataclysm. The borders between geological layers are where an extinction event occurred. On one side you have dinosaurs, on the other side you have mastodons. The rich foundations know this. Remember: their goal is to force the evolution of man.
The rich foundations have stopped at nothing to brain wash the human race into believing evolution. They consider God the enemy. So doing the most evil and despicable things would not bother them. They seem to have no conscience.
These rich foundations have poured billions and billions of dollars into evolution. They have found no real evidence to support it. The evidence they give the general public is contrived and biased. Because they have set aside God, they have no fear of Hell.
Because they have been frustrated in their attempts to force the evolution of man, I believe in their desperation, they are artificially causing catastrophe. In other words: they are deliberately engineering cataclysmic events in order to force the evolutionary process.
The very rich are the only ones to be able to afford artificial caves to hide in while bad things happen to our surface cities.
9/11, hurricanes, tidal waves, earth quakes - too many too close together to be natural. Somebody is playing with us. And I don't think it is God.
You may think this is paranoia. I have been watching and researching these things for years. Lately the shadow government has not even been trying to hide their agenda. We shall see.
According to "Forbidden Archeology" by M.A. Cremo and R.L. Thompson, hundreds of specimens have been dug up over the course of approximately 150 years showing the presence of thoroughly modern man in geological layers up to 300 million years old.
The scientific establishment, which has been funded by the rich foundations, has deliberately forgotten or invalidated stone spearheads, knives, mortar and pestles, bones, entire skeletons - even when these things were found by their own scientists. If a scientist finds any ancient artifact which falls outside of the established and accepted Darwinian Evolution paradigm, that scientist is demonized, ostracized, and drummed out of the scientific community. Their professional career as a scientist has ended.
Money is what science runs on. So scientists are telling the rich foundations what they want to hear in order to keep being funded. Billions of dollars.
Now let us consider what all this research and advancement has brought us:
1. overpopulation
2. pollution
3. decimation of forests and jungles
4. mass extinction of animal species
5. the atomic bomb
6. nerve gas
7. anthrax and lots of other lethal biological agents
8. etc...
Is mankind any happier because of all the wonderful technological advances? No. More people are taking anti-depresent medication than at any other time in recorded history.
Have computers really improved our lives any? Seems like personal computers have contributed to the depression and depravity of the world. A very large percentage of web site traffic goes to porn sites. This cannot in any way contribute to the 'evolution of man'.
Now lets consider why religion may put a damper on free wheeling progress. Religion is knowledge handed down from earlier generations. Perhaps religion (by the ancient knowledge it has) knows free wheeling progress leads to NUCLEAR BOMBS. BUT...
There is some speculation that the Egyptians knew about periodic cataclysms that have previously devastated the Earth.
According to some, Osiris, the first Pharoah of Egypt, returned to Earth after the previous great cataclysm. According to Plutarch's ancient writings, Osiris (Prometheus?, Lucifer?, Quetzalcoatl?) went around the world re-establishing civilization. From Egyptian wall paintings, Osiris was a blue skinned cone head. The largest concentration of cone heads has been found around the ancient, unexplained lines in the plains of Nazca, Peru. Thousands of cone heads have been found in Peru and Bolivia. These areas of South America have signs in the distant past there existed a great civilization.
According to scripture, St. Michael (Zeus?) threw Lucifer (Prometheus?) (Rev 12:7-9) down to the Earth after a great war in Heaven. According to Greek mythology, Hercules (Horus? son of Isis) (son of Zeus) set Prometheus free after a prolonged period of torture and punishment. Prometheus was punished for bringing fire/wisdom to mankind. Fire is the beginning of technology. Sounds like in the distant past (millions of years ago) mankind reached the stars and caused a lot of trouble. So St. Michael and the other angels/heavenly beings/galactic police are on duty/stationed/standing watch over the Earth - just in case mankind trespasses galactic law. The phrase "Klaatu barada nikto" originates from the 1951 Cold-War-era science fiction film The Day The Earth Stood Still. The phrase "Gort! Klaatu barada nikto!" was used to stop Gort, the robot in the film, from destroying the world. Gort is the galactic police. See my "Recent Thought: Hollywood Knows".
If/when things get bad, the Captain of the Armies of Heaven (Joshua 5:13-15) will return. Woe to anyone who trespasses galactic law! The Book of Revelation tells all about it. It is a good bet, they are watching us NOW. Mothman?
The cone heads must have determined another extinction event was coming. They developed a high technology and went into space. While they were out in deep space, the extinction event occurred. When the astronauts returned, they found their civilization was gone, their cities ruined, and Neanderthal man. According to anthropologists, 30,000 years ago Cro-Magnon man (for all intents and purposes these people were anatomically modern, only differing from their modern day descendants in Europe by their slightly more robust physiology and brains larger capacity than that of modern humans) supplanted Neanderthal man. The skulls of Cro-Magnon show they had LARGER brains than we have. I do believe the space returning cone heads exterminated Neanderthal man, in their attempt to re-establish civilization.
In Walt Disney's cartoon movie "Lilo & Stitch", one of the aliens declares: "In fact, every time an asteroid strikes their planet they have to begin life all over." Some believe the pyramids are sign posts warning mankind about the next mass extinction event.
The authenticity of the archeology in "Forbidden Archeology" shows that Homo Sapiens Sapiens (modern man) has occupied the Earth for millions of years.
Where are the space ships? Where are the flying cities? What happened? Disaster, destruction, war, war, war - over and over again.
Do you see a pattern?
In "The Mote in God's Eye", by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle, a planet is discovered with a race of aliens. It is found that this civilization has numerous times risen to civilization and then by some cataclysmic event, knocked back to a primitive state to start all over again. Now that I see the evidence, I believe they were talking about the Earth and mankind.
So what role does religion play in all of this?
In the movie "Terminator 3", John Conner says: "Judgment Day. The day the human race was nearly destroyed...by weapons they'd built to protect themselves. I should have realized our destiny was never to stop Judgment Day. It was merely to survive it..."
The purpose of religion is to save mankind.
Perhaps the real purpose of the International Space Station (IS(i)S) is to enable man to survive the next extinction event - whether we bring it on ourselves via nuclear war, or an asteroid slams into the Earth. NASA has a preoccupation of calling their rockets after ancient gods. NASA announced that its new Crew Exploration Vehicle will be named Orion. "Orion" is a version of Osiris.
So the real purpose of NASA is to enable mankind to survive Judgment Day. Only a few - like Noah and the Ark.
To save mankind.
Just look at what Technological PROGRESS has brought us.
The role of religion is to save mankind. To warn mankind to fear God. Repent, the Kingdom of Heaven is near!
It is pretty easy to see - it won't be long before man is living in caves again. Oh! That is right, people are already living in caves - look it up.

What happens when you finally get it, when the peices of the puzzle start to fit together? The light came on. From Wikipedia: As a feeling, an epiphany is a sudden realisation or comprehension of the essence or meaning of something. The term is used in either a philosophical or literal sense to signify that the claimant has "found the last piece of the puzzle and now sees the whole picture," or has new information or experience, often insignificant by itself, that illuminates a deeper or numinous foundational frame of reference.
